Pastor Gregory just started a new series titled "When The Vision Came To Me". I, myself, have learned so much and would like to share with you my own personal notes. God has a unique vision and purpose for each one of us according to Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP). A plan is a detailed proposal for us to do and achieve. That something will bring glory to God through us. God wants to bring glory to himself through our lives. We need to discover and learn God's vision and understand what He has for us. You must ask God to show you the vision. You discover it by asking Him to help you understand the vision.

According to Proverbs 29:18 (KJV), If you and I do not find out God's vision for us, we will perish. God reveals his vision when He knows we are ready and able to receive it. And He will provide what we need to fulfill His purpose. Psalm 90:17 tells us "And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes make our efforts successful!"

No more wasted effort - everything you and I do should bring glory to God. That is why it is so important for you and I to press. The only way we will be able to press is when we get our vision corrected. We need some faith glasses so our vision won't be blurry anymore. The Holy Spirit will  give you direction. When you find God's vision for your life, you will find your purpose. We must trust the Lord with all our heart, according to Proverbs 3:5-6. He will lead you and I down the road to fulfill the vision that He has for each one of us.

I Will Give You Counsel

Pastor Gregory just started a new teaching titled "I Will Give You Counsel".  We have been going through the Book of Exodus, Chapters 18 and 19. I would like to share with you from my notes what I have learned. In Exodus 18:1-12 we see how Moses and Jethro have a mutual regard and respect for each other. Jethro was Moses'

father-in-law and he also was a spiritual father to him. In Exodus  4:18  Moses  asked his father-in- law to release him from an assignment that God had called him to do. Jethro found two problems: 1. Moses was judging Israel by himself with no help, and as a result Moses  experienced great fatigue.
2. The people he was ministering to became frustrated because they couldn't get prompt relief . Also Jethro instructed  Moses to get leaders to help him.

In Exodus 3:12  we find that God fulfilled His promise to bring the people to Mt. Sinai to worship Him. God made a covenant with Moses and He made one with me. Through Jesus, we are an heir to the promise. Matthew  18:19   is a powerful scripture. "I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father  in heaven will do it for you."

Without respect and trust, there will never be growth in our life. Once we start trusting and respecting, our conduct will change. We must start rewriting our life script with our tongue. Exodus 19:5 tells us "Now if you will obey and keep my covenant, you will be my own special treasure from among all the peoples on earth; for all the earth belongs to me." God wants us to come into agreement with Him. When we do, we have power. But there is something we first have to do. And that is stop being selfish and stop missing the beat.  Let me ask you this. Are you willing to stop being selfish? Think about it. There is a great reward from our Heavenly Father when we do.

With Your Unfailing Love You Lead

Pastor Gregory just started a new series titled: "With Your Unfailing Love You Lead".
I would like to share with you what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me. In Exodus 15:1, Moses and the children of Israel sang to the Lord. This was a key moment in the history of the people of Israel because they were always creating ways to praise Him. Psalm 118:14 tells us that "The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation". When the Lord becomes our salvation, He gives us victory!  We sing to Him a new song because we trust Him, because He takes away fear.

God wants to lead us, if we allow Him to. What you and I need to do is become His sheep. We need to change our focus from us trusting ourselves, to us trusting God. The reason  that we don't hear from God is that we have a goat mentality and we always "kick up". John 10:27: "My sheep hear my voice  and I know them, and they follow Me".  How can we be able to hear the voice of God if we are always "kicking up?"

Psalm 27:1 tells us "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Because you and I are in the light we are in victory!
Now join me right now and shout "I am in victory".
2018 is the year of manifestation in Christ.
Hallelujah !

We have been continuing with our spiritual training out of the Book of Exodus and what a training it has been. I, myself, have learned so much. We are now going through Chapters 9 & 10.  Did you know that when we go through something, it is for preparation? In Chapter 9 of the Book of Exodus, God was not judging a nation, He was preparing a nation. God was preparing Israel to lead the land and have the courage to go out. We cannot be afraid to step into our future and we cannot  be complacent with our present.

In Exodus 9:33-35, Pharaoh hardened his own heart. The heart reveals who you are. Pharaoh was an evil, selfish man and Pharaoh's evil heart did not allow him to do good. It was his own free will. Did God cause Pharaoh to sin? No. God never instills evil in a person's heart, that is our own decision. Our hearts get hardened when we do what we are not supposed to doing.

Some hearts are like clay, when the light hits it, it will harden. Others are like wax, when the sun hits it, it will melt. The substance that is in your heart is either hardening or melting away. When you have a hard heart you will come up with all kinds of excuses and sometimes you will start to believe them. 2 Corinthians 4:7 tells us, "We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God not from ourselves -
Don't delay your blessing by hardening your heart.

Face And Fix Your Encounters

What an awesome teaching Pastor Gregory has been doing this month titled "Face and Fix Your Encounters. It comes out of the Book of Exodus, and we have been going through  Chapters 4-8. An encounter is a battle, a conflict, a fight. According to Exodus 4:18-19, whatever has persecuted you in the past is gone. It is not here anymore. We must be conscious and mindful. Those encounters are gone and you are about to enter into a new place.

Exodus 5:1-5 shows us that if we are disobedient to God and do what we want to do, we will have to pay some kind of consequence. Pharaoh had one thing on his mind, "this is not costing me one cent. Go back to work."Moses and Aaron were asking Pharaoh to release the people so they can go and worship God in the wilderness . Pharaoh refused and persecuted the Israelites. Pharaoh didn't recognize God's authority.

In Exodus 6:6-8, God gave us four principals, four patterns and four promises:
1. I will rescue and redeem my people from Egypt (Exodus 6:6). The Holy Spirit reminds and teaches us, "I have rescued you. I have redeemed you From Egypt." Egypt represents your sin.
2. He has made us His people.
3. He is my God,  and
 4. He is bringing us to the promise land. (Exodus 6:8).

The reason why Moses kept protesting God is that he was fighting two fights. The fight of the flesh and the fight of faith. God tells Moses "I am still with you, you are not fighting this battle on your own. I am with you." Those of you who are reading this, God is telling you the same thing He told Moses "I am still with you. You are not fighting this battle on your own". Continue to trust Him and learn to develop your faith and not your flesh.

Continue to Multiply -Growing More

This month Pastor Gregory has started a new series.  It is spiritual training right out of the Book of Exodus. Exodus means "departure".  The title of the teaching is "Continue to Multiply -Growing More". The Israelites were immediately enslaved. The Book of Exodus is the Israelites birth certificate, as it details the first movement of a nation. God called the Israelites His special treasure. He called the Jews His chosen people.

We need to become a student of the Word of God. The Word will bring light on any situation that you may be going through. We need to become humble like Jesus. Whatever the enemy means to be bad for me, God will turn it around for good (Genesis 50:19-21)

Moses parents hid him for 3 months after he was born. That was an act of faith. God is always looking for our act of faith. When Moses' mother placed the basket in the water, the basket became a vessel of divine deliverance. When you and I allow God to place us in that vessel of divine deliverance, we will be placed securely, just like Moses was.  Moses was a favored man and his name means "to be drawn out". Just as Moses was "drawn out" of the water, the Lord used Moses to "draw out " the people in Israel. Moses was the answer for the Israelites. God always has someone ready for when the people cry out; and remember this - God always hears, always remembers and always sees our prayers.

Submit and Keep A Clear Conscious

Pastor Gregory just started a new teaching titled "Submit and Keep A Clear Conscious"
It's a powerful teaching and I have learned so much. He has been teaching  out of the Book of Romans.  In Romans 13:1-7, Apostle Paul  argues that we have to submit and commit. If we resist authority, we resist the ordinance of God and if we obey the law, we are obeying the Lord.

We also have to be very careful to obey all the commands of the law as outlined in Joshua 22:5. I've learned that the Word illuminates and exposes the darkness and takes it out. If you are walking around with a spirit of heaviness, you can get rid of it quickly by worshipping the Lord. You must come to realize that your past is gone, your future is not here and what you have to work with right now is your present.

In Romans 3:8-14, it explains how love fulfills the law. Our obligation is to love another and love your neighbor as yourself. We can never repay the love of Christ. What we must do is put God first over all that we do. Our love is the true measure of our obedience to God. If you do not feel that your life is not going the way you want it to, you should pray and ask God what is good and acceptable to Him. Ask Him to show you His purpose for your life. Ask Him to show you His plan and His will for your life. You can rest assure that He will. All you have to do is ask. He is waiting for you right now!

Remaining Faithful Because of God's Grace

What an awesome teaching Pastor Gregory has been doing. The title is "Remaining Faithful Because of God's Grace".  I have been learning a lot and  would like to share with you what the Holy Spirit has revealed to me.

In the 11th Chapter of Romans, it tells us that God has a great future and plan for Israel. God demonstrates His commitment to Israel. Israel was being rebellious and was rejecting Christ.  For us to be able to keep the law, we would have to be perfect. The reason why we have perfection is that we have accepted Jesus Christ in our heart and He now lives in our heart.

God has a heart and a love for the Jews. But the Jews, which were Gods's people , were disobedient, and because they were disobedient, He made salvation available to the Gentiles. We also see in this Chapter that Paul did the same thing as Jesus. He went to the synagogue, and when they threw him out, he went to the Gentiles.

In closing I would like to say that you and I must stay rooted in the faith God has given us and stay standing firm in that faith. We must get rooted in the Word and work our now so we can get to our  tomorrow. Amen!

Receiving His Wonderful Promises

7/1/2017

Pastor Gregory has been doing an awesome teaching titled "Receiving His Wonderful Promises".
Romans 8:1 (AMP) says: "There is now no condemnation (no guilty verdict,  no punishment) for those who are in Christ Jesus (who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior). Which means there is no blaming, no sentence, no conviction. This is because we are in Christ Jesus and the Father does not condemn Christ Jesus. If the Son is in us, then He cannot condemn us. The promises of God are vehicles to God's provision. If you and I want to receive His promises, we must do something. We must be in total agreement with God.

If you and I follow the principal and pattern of the Word of God, then we will be guaranteed to receive His wonderful promises. We have a new life in the spirit. It is our choice. God moved upon our spirit. Romans 8:3 (NLT), "The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent His own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have, and in that body God declared an end to sin's control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins ". Jesus had to take the punishment that was supposed to be for us.

Suffering means development. James 1:3 (NLT) tells us: "For you know that when your faith is tested your endurance has a chance to grow". What we need to do is to develop the image of Christ inside of us. And we must do that first before we can share  with others the wisdom God has given us. We must be an imitator of Christ here on this earth and let the Jesus inside of us come out. Will you come in agreement and join me on this assignment God has given us?

What Are You Choosing To Obey?

What an awesome teaching Pastor Gregory has been doing titled "What Are You Choosing To Obey? According to Romans 5:12-15, there was a time when death reigned over the earth. When Adam allowed sin to come. Now life reigns over the earth. We are in a time of life because of what Jesus did for you and I. It is a choice that each of us must make, either we obey death and sin, or we obey life: everlasting life.

There are 3 things both you and I as believers should be pursuing. They are the Word, the Spirit and the Glory. The spirit gives life.  We should stop thinking carnally and start thinking spiritually and let the spirit control our mind according to Romans 8:6, which reads "So letting the your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. When we sin, it's like a tornado that effects the people around us and we start to become separated from God.

When we let the Spirit control our mind, it will lead to life and peace. I know you want to live in peace. To live in peace it is imperative that you get your mind renewed. Having peace starts with having peace with God. We must stay far away as we can from sin. For us to stay away from sin, we need the power of Christ in us. We need to ask the Father: "Is there something that I am doing that is not right?" But the good thing is that Jesus will love us NO MATTER WHAT. He loves the sinner, but doesn't love the sin. He wants us to protect us, He is our Father. He wants to demonstrate His love. So let's us join together this day and partnership with God- by us doing that, it guarantees us the very best!
