What an awesome teaching pastor Gregory has been doing on "Take God at His Word". Psalm 130:5 (NKJV) tells us: "I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope." It is so important that we put our trust and hope in the Lord. We need revelation of God's word and must go to the Holy Spirit who will give us the revelation that we need. Jesus talks to us in His word. The Holy Spirit is the revealer and the interpreter.
John 14:25-26 (NKJV) tells us that the Holy Spirit teaches us and reminds us. You and I must communicate with the Holy Spirit in order for us to receive from Him. The Holy Spirit is an ever present provider; a comforter and an encourager. He will never discourage us.
When we study the Word of God daily, we will receive daily benefits. When we are living in the written Word, we are standing in the written Word. Our yesterday faith is gone, and we are living in a now faith! We must let the Word of God transform us to experience His glory. According to Colossians 3:10 (NKJV) we must "put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him". Job 22:21 (NLT) tells us: "Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you." Let us take that first step right here and right now and submit to God. I guarantee you, He will take care of the rest.
